We truly appreciate your interest in Haven Christian Academy. HCA will soon begin its 34th year of providing an outstanding Christian and college preparatory education to the youth of Polk County. As the largest ministry of Haven Baptist Church and the only PreK-12 Christian school in Winter Haven, HCA has earned an excellent academic and spiritual reputation throughout the Polk County community. Additionally, we are making huge strides in the areas of athletics and music.
Where have our graduates attended?
Since 1980, Haven graduates have successfully matriculated into some of the finest colleges and universities in the country to include the University of Florida, the University of South Florida, the University of Central Florida, Georgia Tech, the University of Arkansas, Liberty University, Ole Miss, and many others. Haven also has a 100% application to admission ratio into the Polk State College Collegiate High School - a program that gives college and high school credit for the junior and senior years of high school. In 2009, 4 HCA sophomores successfully matriculated into the PSC Collegiate High School.
Steps to Enrollment:
- Attend a weekly Open House Wednesday from 8:15 AM - 9:45 AM.
- Read all materials including the Handbook to understand our school's philosophy and policies.
- Submit a completed application to the school office.
- Schedule admissions testing with the administration.
- Meet with our school administrator to conduct the family interview (interview should include the applying student).
- Upon review of your child's admissions package, you will be contacted regarding our placement and enrollment decisions.

Enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year remains open through the summer until classes fill. Below is information regarding the 2010-2011 school year.
Re-enrollment begins February 11. Open enrollment begins February 15.
