Serve : Overview

If you call Haven your church home, we ask that you share in what we are ABOUT…the vision of the church, CONNECT with others through a ministry that ministers to you, SERVE by ministering to others, and REACH the surrounding community and world for Christ.

It is our desire to follow the Lord’s command to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:12.

Through the leading and empowerment of the Holy Spirit, you can discover the role He desires for you to play. Once you discover His specific plans for you, you will begin to see real eternal significance in your life.

We encourage you to:

Devote time to prayer! It is our desire that you spend both quality and quantity time in prayer seeking the Lord’s Will for where He wants to use you in His ministry.

Discover your Spiritual Gift! It is our prayer that by using this profile you will have a better idea of God’s plan for you in this local assembly! Learn more about your Spiritual Gift.

Decide to serve! Make up your mind to no longer be just a pew warmer!

Demonstrate Your Spiritual Gift! Talk to one of our leaders about getting signed-up to serve in a ministry that best expresses what your gifts are. WE NEED YOU!
